Hi there, nice to meet you. I’m Karolina, owner and certified destination wedding planner. After planning my destination wedding, I studied wedding planning and coordinating and received certification from The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC).
Nearly a year after studying the industry, I decided to go ahead with my dream and launch my own destination wedding planning business. I have since been nominated for an Ottawa Wedding Award in the wedding planner category (2017-2019) and also for a Faces Magazine Award in the wedding planner category (2018-2020). My work has been featured on online blogs for Elegant Wedding Magazine, Wedding Bells Magazine, and MOD Wedding. In 2020, I won Global Piton Award from Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.
While being in the travel business, I built many successful partnerships with luxury resort brands, including Sandals, Hard Rock Hotels, Karisma, UNICO 2087, and Nobu. Each year I have the opportunity to attend familiarization trips for selected agents at the resorts to learn about each property as well as attend Destination Wedding Conferences. I stay on top of the newest trends and know what is happening in the destination wedding industry.
Well, let me start with the most important: my family. I have two children, my handsome little-man Hugo and my beautiful girl Malia, and I am married to my amazing Terence. When Terence proposed to me a few years ago, it opened my eyes to the world of wedding planning, specifically through our own destination wedding. So it all started with family and has led me to become an owner of a wedding planning company.
I am a Certified Destination Wedding Planner with years of experience, Sandals Certified Specialist, WOW Specialist, and IATA Certified Travel Agent. But, most importantly, I will always provide my clients with the best service I can possibly deliver - your wedding is my passion! In my experience, I am so grateful to be able to have connected with my clients on so many levels. I am your friend, your confidant, your assistant, your travel agent, and your wedding planner... and sometimes I can be that person you can vent to if anything is getting stressful.
